This talk focuses on the role of memes in behavioral threats, particularly their ability to shape and disseminate ideas. Dr. Gabriel Maletta will provide case studies and examples of memes at each stage of Frederick Calhoun and Steve Weston's "Pathway to Violence" model. Additionally, he will provide steps for assessors and other security professionals to develop their own "cultural competency" when assessing memes they may come across in data sets.
