About the webinar: CTAP-25: A structured approach to triaging concerning communication.

The Communications Threat Assessment Protocol (CTAP-25) is a structured professional judgement tool for identifying and assessing problematic, intrusive and threatening communication. It is a general risk instrument, in that it helps triage cases for a variety of risk domains including violence, persistence, disruption and reputational harm. CTAP-25 was developed by forensic psychologists, psychiatrists and security personnel to help individuals and organisations in both the public and private sectors to identify and manage cases of concern at the earliest possible moment.

This presentation will describe the evolution of CTAP-25, its role within threat assessment, and the benefits of using the CTAP-25 as part of a structured process. These topics will be illustrated through case examples, research findings and an overview of where and how the CTAP-25 is being used.
